“PARABLES OF THE LOST FOR THE LOST”

Luke 15 contains three parables of the lost (the lost sheep, coin, and son).  The intended audience seems to be the judgmental, self-righteous Pharisees and scribes, but they weren't the only audience.  What do those parables mean for the lost?
