“ABEL - THE FIRST HERO”

Abel is easily overlooked.  In Genesis 4, where we read about him, the account isn't really about him.  It's about Cain.  But the Hebrew author brings up Abel as one of the heroes of faith, and rightly so.

Note - in the lesson I make reference to a church with a woman preacher.  While women are crucially important to God and the church, the Bible does not permit such a role for women (I Cor. 14:34-36; I Tim. 2:11-12).
