“Though the Darkness Hide Thee (Communion)”

"Holy, holy, holy; though the darkness hide Thee. Though the eye of sinful man Thy glory may not see."

Those familiar lines from a classic hymn remind us of an enduring truth: that God is unchanged and unchanging, even when we struggle to see his true, good nature. Today, as we eat the Lord's supper, we remember than behind all the darkness surrounding the cross, the holiness & love of God was still shining brightly.
