“A Voice of Thanks & Praise”

In Nehemiah 12:46, Nehemiah wrote in his journal: "long ago in the days of David and Asaph there were directors of the singers, and there were songs of praise and thanksgiving to God." It was a statement that should have never been possible to make: that it was long ago that God's people had offered songs of praise and thanksgiving. It reminds us not to let the importance of these things fade out of our hearts.
